Fatal Lower Merion Twp. shooting death of Andrew Gaudio

Legal proceedings recently concluded with a jury delivering a conviction for second-degree murder against one individual in a home invasion case that resulted in a fatality within Montgomery County. Following this decision, the presiding judge mandated a life imprisonment sentence for 28-year-old Jeremy Fuentes. The trial took place on Wednesday.

The deceased, Andrew Gaudio, who was 25 years old, and his 61-year-old mother, Bernadette Gaudio, were the targets during this unlawful entry. According to law enforcement authorities, the three individuals involved mistakenly went to the wrong address in the Lower Merion area in December, leading to this tragic incident. They intended to commit a crime at a residence nearby in Bucks County, but due to a similarity in the street numbering, they ended up at this home.

Charles Fulforth, aged 41 and residing in Jenkintown, and Kelvin Roberts, who is 42 and lives in Philadelphia, are currently being prosecuted on charges of first-degree murder for their actions that day. These two are alleged to have carried out the intruding incident.

In addition to the three men, authorities have charged five other individuals in connection with this case. The remaining suspects include Aaron Hiller, Marcus Lee Jackson, Jonathan Rodriguez, Corry K. Simpson, and Frances Staten, all from Philadelphia. Together, these eight people face accusations related to operating a criminal network that deals in 3D-printed firearms, sound suppressors, and automatic weapon conversion equipment. District Attorney Kevin Steele has indicated that the theft of weapons from the incorrectly targeted property was part of a larger operation aimed at expanding their illegal firearms business.
