Law enforcement agencies are examining the circumstances surrounding the discovery of three deceased individuals, one being an infant, within Berks County over the course of the last two weeks. At this time, a single person has been formally accused for one of the deaths.
The timeline of events commenced on September 13th, when law officers from the Reading Police department located the body of Junior Cabrera-Colon in a patch of vegetation close to Baer Park on River Road. An examination of the remains showed evidence of a head wound resulting from a gunshot.
Further investigation revealed that Cabrera-Colon was residing with a female companion, named Geraldina Peguero-Mancebo, and their one-year-old child, Jeydon Junior Peguero. The latter two individuals had not been seen since September 12th. In response, state police from Pennsylvania issued a missing endangered persons notification for their safety.
