Niagara County law enforcement has officially identified the individual who lost their life in a serious road intersection incident that occurred on Monday evening. The fatal collision took place in the city of Lewiston, involving a motorcycle operator and a pickup truck.
According to preliminary reports, the sheriff’s department received multiple urgent notifications around 6:30 p.m., detailing the accident at the intersection of Townline Road and Albright Road, specifically at the address 4663 Townline Road. This location is situated in the nearby community.
Upon investigation, authorities revealed that a pickup truck, which was heading north on Townline Road, attempted a left-hand turn onto Albright Road. This maneuver resulted in the truck entering the path of the motorcycle, which was traveling southbound along the same thoroughfare.
Investigators have indicated that the motorcycle was moving at a notably fast pace at the time of the encounter. Regrettably, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the accident site by emergency responders.
