Fatal strangulation death of Kimberly Moore

Regrettably, authorities confirmed that Kimberly Moore, a fifty-three-year-old, lost her life on Tuesday. The incident occurred within the confines of an extended care institution located in Waterville. Roscoe C. Gilmore, a sixty-three-year-old resident of the same establishment, was formally accused in connection with the tragedy.

The facility in question, known as Heritage Village, is a long-term rehabilitation and specialized nursing site. Positioned at 555 Anthony Wayne Trail, this ninety-bed complex provides both private and semi-private accommodations. Its focus lies in catering to individuals requiring assistance with behavioral health and those living with dementia.

When emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene, they observed that a towel remained securely fastened around Ms. Moore’s neck. Significant bruising was noted on her face and neck region. The Lucas County Coroner’s Office subsequently determined on Wednesday that Ms. Moore’s demise resulted from homicide, with the cause being classified as strangulation.
