Sheryl Anne Jordan passed away on September 23 while receiving care at a hospital, following a motor vehicle collision that occurred earlier in the year. Her death resulted from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Sheryl Anne Jordan passed away on September 23 while receiving care at a hospital, following a motor vehicle collision that occurred earlier in the year. Her death resulted from injuries sustained in a car accident.

The fatal car crash happened on August 17. According to law enforcement, Ms. Jordan, an 83-year-old woman from Delray Beach, was operating her 2019 Ford Escape when the incident occurred. She was heading north on Las Verdes Way in the suburban community.

As she approached the intersection with Linton Boulevard, her vehicle collided with another car. The other vehicle involved was a 2024 Jeep Wrangler being driven by a 25-year-old man from Boca Raton. He was traveling eastbound in the middle lane at the time of the crash.

The collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. The front section of the Jeep Wrangler impacted the left side of Ms. Jordan’s Ford Escape.

Emergency services, including the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue department, arrived at the scene. Paramedics found Ms. Jordan suffering from severe injuries as a result of the crash. She was transported to Delray Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the Jeep Wrangler was not cited for any criminal charges. Neither he nor a 27-year-old passenger in his vehicle suffered any injuries in the collision. The official crash report does not contain information regarding the speed of either vehicle at the time of the impact.
