Carolyn Otto dies in fatal Parker County car crash

Fatal Parker County car crash death of Carolyn Otto

Parkersburg authorities confirmed one fatality and one hospitalization following a serious traffic incident on Wednesday. The event took place in the North Texas region.

Officials from the Texas Department of Public Safety reported that a 1996 Ford Bronco was traveling north along Tucker Drive at approximately 4:40 p.m. It is reported that the driver experienced a sudden loss of control, moving the vehicle off the roadway and causing it to collide with a tree. The crash occurred just north of Deer Track Road.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the driver, identified as 61-year-old Karen Winegarner from Weatherford, was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. The passenger, identified as 82-year-old Carolyn Otto from Lakeville, Minnesota, was taken to a nearby medical facility where she was pronounced deceased.
