Fatal Moss Point shooting death of Alvin Myers and Cynthia Tucker
The Moss Point Police Department announced Monday that it is examining a double-murder case. Officials stated the homicides transpired in the Diamond Street vicinity, but they withheld specific information regarding the incident.
Jackson County Coroner Bruce Lynd Jr. confirmed the deceased were Alvin Myers, aged seventy, and Cynthia Tucker, aged fifty-nine. The relationship between the two victims remains unspecified.
The county’s medical examiner’s office is conducting the investigation and preliminary findings indicate the victims were killed by gunfire. The coroner reported being informed about the killings at approximately three in the afternoon. Lynd indicated he had no further information available by seven thirty in the evening.
