Fatal west Phoenix car crash death of Michael Cathcart

Phoenix Police detectives continue examining the scene of a deadly collision this evening, resulting in the death of a pedestrian. Responding around 8 p.m., officers found the pedestrian, Michael Cathcart, age 40, suffering serious injuries near the intersection of 91st and Highland avenues. He was taken to a local hospital where medical staff determined he did not survive his conditions.
