Oscar Santos (49) dies in fatal Long Beach car crash

Fatal Long Beach car crash death of Oscar Santos (49)

A pedestrian identified as Oscar Santos, aged 49, died following a collision with a motor vehicle on a freeway access road in Long Beach, according to a statement released Saturday.

The Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that Mr. Santos succumbed to traumatic injuries sustained in this incident. Information regarding his registered city was not disclosed.

On Thursday evening, around 9:24 p.m., California Highway Patrol personnel were dispatched to the transition area connecting the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway and the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, reported Officer Elizabeth Kravig with City News Service. Upon arrival, they discovered the deceased individual lying injured on the shoulder of the access road.

Mr. Santos was pronounced deceased at the scene.
