Adam White, 48, was killed after being struck by multiple vehicles in Columbus on Saturday evening.

The incident occurred near the intersection of River Road and 35th Street, where White was pronounced dead at 7:35 p.m. Authorities reported that blunt force trauma was the cause of death.

Police review of surveillance footage shows White crossing the eastbound lanes, collapsing, and subsequently being hit by three separate vehicles. A bystander attempted to warn approaching cars but was unable to prevent the tragedy.

White’s body will undergo an autopsy at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and his family has been notified. The Columbus Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
