Alejandra Izucena Solis Garcia, 50, from Mexico, was killed after being struck by a train on December 19 in Uvalde County, authorities reported. The incident occurred near La Hacienda Drive, when Union Pacific engineers noticed an object on the tracks and alerted the Uvalde Police Department around 5:30 a.m.

Sheriff Ruben Nolasco confirmed that Garcia was found beneath the train. The Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office, together with U.S. Border Patrol, is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
