Marina Hoeppner, 77, of Fayetteville, lost her life in a two-vehicle collision in Huntsville on Saturday evening, authorities reported. The crash occurred around 8 p.m. at the junction of Highway 72 and Providence Main Street.
According to Huntsville Police, Hoeppner was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved when the accident happened. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
