Fatal Bogue Chitto, Miss. highway crash death of Martin Dunn – Obituary

A trucker, 68-year-old Martin Dunn of Bogue Chitto, was killed Friday morning in a fiery crash on Highway 583. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. between Hunters and Bogue Chitto roads.

Dunn was driving a southbound 2007 Kenworth tanker carrying gasoline and diesel when the crash happened. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but he was pronounced dead at the location due to the severity of the fire.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash to determine the exact cause of the accident.
