Fatal St. Clair County Christmas morning crash death of Tina M. Ottaway – Obituary

Tina M. Ottaway, 51, of Tennessee, was killed in a single-vehicle accident involving a pedestrian early on Christmas morning in St. Clair County, Alabama.

The incident took place on Interstate 20 near mile marker 144, just west of Moody. Ottaway was struck by a 2008 Cadillac SRX, which then veered off the road and collided with a concrete barrier. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Cadillac sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Troopers from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are conducting an investigation into the crash.
