Fatal Centre County car crash death of Diana Lyons – Obituary

Diana Lyons, 37, was among three people who died in a Christmas Day traffic collision in Howard Township, Pennsylvania, on December 25. The Centre County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Lyons, along with 33-year-old Richard Harriott and a 10-year-old boy, all from Lock Haven, succumbed to blunt force trauma sustained in the crash.

The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on North Eagle Valley Road, south of Swartz Hollow Road, when a Pontiac carrying five people collided head-on with a Nissan. Lyons, Harriott, and the child were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other Pontiac passengers were airlifted to a hospital with critical injuries, while the Nissan driver was also hospitalized, though their condition was not immediately reported.

Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the crash and are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the Rockview Barracks at 814-355-7545.
