Fatal McLean County car crash death of Brendan E. Taylor – Obituary

Authorities have identified 26-year-old Brendan E. Taylor of Bloomington as the victim of a car crash early Sunday morning in McLean County. Coroner Kathy Yoder confirmed that Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene at the intersection of Morrissey Drive and Chrisman Lane.

Preliminary findings indicate that Taylor suffered multiple blunt force injuries when his vehicle left the roadway, entered a culvert, and rolled over, causing him to be ejected. Toxicology results are still pending.

The Illinois State Police responded to the crash around 2:35 a.m., and both the coroner’s office and state investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
