Fatal Stockton, California shooting death of Noah Juan Auburn Tracy – Obituary
Noah Juan Auburn Tracy, a 17-year-old boy from Stockton, was killed in a shooting on December 28 at People’s Market & Liquor on Country Club Boulevard. The incident also left three other people injured and prompted a police response to the scene.
Authorities said the shooting occurred after 7:30 p.m., and emergency responders transported the injured victims—a woman and two men—to nearby hospitals for treatment. Tracy was initially misidentified as an adult, but the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner later confirmed he was a teenager.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple rounds of gunfire, which caused panic among customers and nearby restaurant staff, some of whom took cover in a kitchen during the chaos. The presence of a blue taco truck, called “Don Jorge’s Tacos,†outside the store was noted by law enforcement investigating the scene.
The shooting is part of an ongoing pattern of violence in the area; in October, Maurice Banks, 36, was fatally shot near the same stretch of Country Club Boulevard. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Tracy’s death and the injuries to the other victims.
