Fatal Liverpool, Texas shooting death of Javier Martinez – Obituary

Javier Martinez, 27, of Liverpool, Texas, was fatally shot inside a home on Sunday afternoon, authorities reported.

According to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a disturbance at a residence on the 200 block of Liverpool Spur. Upon arrival, they discovered Martinez on the floor with multiple suspected gunshot wounds and no signs of life.

Emergency responders were able to safely enter after a second man at the scene was detained, and they attempted life-saving measures, but Martinez was pronounced dead at the location.

His body was taken to the Galveston County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Investigators and forensic teams launched a full investigation, and the individual detained at the scene has been taken into custody and is expected to face murder charges.
