Landover, Maryland Man Antonio Lancaster Arrested in Fairfax County for Fatal Banquet Hall Shooting

TEMPLE HILLS, MD — Antonio Lancaster, a 39-year-old resident of the Landover area, was arrested in Fairfax County, Virginia, in connection with a fatal shooting outside a banquet hall in Temple Hills.

According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, Lancaster was taken into custody on Sunday in Fairfax County following a multi-agency effort. Authorities say the incident occurred early Saturday, January 3, 2026, outside a banquet hall in the 4300 block of St. Barnabas Road, where three men were shot. One victim, 27-year-old Ronez Proctor of Waldorf, was fatally wounded, while two other men were also killed during an exchange of gunfire in the parking lot.

Lancaster was transported to the Fairfax County Police Department and remains in custody pending extradition. He is facing charges including first- and second-degree murder in connection with the shooting.
