Fatal Mobile County, Alabama car crash death of Mary McKee Vise – Obituary
Mary McKee Vise, a 71-year-old resident of Citronelle, lost her life following a serious two-vehicle collision in Mobile County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. The crash happened around 1:20 p.m. on Friday, January 2, along Old Pascagoula Road.
Investigators said Vise was driving a 2011 Toyota RAV4 when it collided head-on with a 2011 Kia Forte operated by 51-year-old Clifford Wayne Stokes of Theodore. The impact of the crash caused fatal injuries to both drivers. Authorities confirmed that Vise and Stokes were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two 10-year-old children who were passengers in Vise’s vehicle were injured in the collision. They were transported to a nearby hospital, where they received medical care for their injuries.
The incident occurred approximately three miles from the surrounding area, and the crash remains under review by state troopers as they continue to document the circumstances leading up to the collision.
