LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Chiquita Woods, 55, was killed Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Bardstown Road near Watterson Trail. The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m., according to Louisville Police.
Officers initially responded to a report of a minor collision at the intersection, which was later upgraded to an injury accident. Authorities said Woods exited her vehicle following the initial collision and was then hit by a passing car. The Jefferson County Coroner confirmed her death was caused by blunt force trauma. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
