Robert Furches, a 71-year-old trucker from Millington, Tennessee, was killed in a crash on Wednesday morning in Jonesboro.
The incident occurred at 10:55 a.m. at the intersection of CW Post Road and Moore Road, where Furches, driving a 2023 Freightliner, collided with a southbound 2020 Volvo driven by 55-year-old Dinh Linh Hong of Morrow, Georgia.
The collision resulted in the death of Furches, while Hong’s condition was not reported. The crash caused a temporary shutdown of the intersection as authorities worked to clear the scene. Arkansas State Police are continuing their investigation into the crash.
