Authorities in Otoe County have confirmed that Bradley Donner, a 55-year-old man from Omaha, lost his life in an early-morning camper fire near Nebraska City.
The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office reported that Donner died from smoke inhalation and injuries caused by extreme heat. The incident occurred in the early hours of January 17 at a campground located on the western edge of Nebraska City.
Nebraska City Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched to the scene around 3:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a fire. Upon arrival, responders found the camper completely engulfed in flames.
Officials later determined that Donner was the only person involved in the incident. The fire remains under investigation, with authorities continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the deadly blaze.
