Jordan Grant dies in fatal Hilo car crash

Fatal Hilo car crash death of Jordan Grant – Obituary

Jordan Grant, 20, of Hilo, died early Thursday morning following a single-vehicle accident on Pauahi Street. The crash occurred around 12:07 a.m. near Piopio Street when Grant’s silver 1998 Honda Civic, traveling at a high speed, lost control and struck the metal railing of the Pauahi Street bridge.

Grant, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was found unresponsive at the scene. Fire and medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at 12:23 a.m. An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the exact cause of death.
