Fatal Colerain Township stabbing death of Christopher Tanner – Obituary
Christopher Tanner, 37, was fatally stabbed on January 21 in Colerain Township, Ohio, authorities confirmed. Tanner was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after being found with stab wounds in a parking lot but succumbed to his injuries.
Police said the incident occurred around noon at the Prime at White Oak apartment and townhome complex on Nandale Drive. Officers responding to the scene discovered Tanner suffering from wounds to his torso.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the stabbing. Terrell Bailey, 43, faces charges of murder and tampering with evidence, while Shanice Shade, 44, is charged with obstructing justice and tampering with evidence. Court documents indicate that Shade allegedly removed the knife from the scene and discarded it, as well as provided false information to investigators.
Both Bailey and Shade are being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center and are scheduled for arraignment in Hamilton County Municipal Court. The investigation remains ongoing.
