Fatal Kansas City shooting death of Decorrian Partee – Obituary

Decorrian Partee, 28, was killed Saturday evening following a shooting at a fast-food restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri. He was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering gunshot wounds.

Kansas City Police Department officials said the incident occurred around 8 p.m. at the Popeyes on Prospect Avenue near 31st Street. Officers responding to reports of gunfire found two men with gunshot injuries. One victim was conscious and transported to a hospital, while Partee succumbed to his injuries at the location.

Witnesses described an altercation that escalated into gunfire, according to police. Authorities are actively searching for one or more suspects who fled the scene following the shooting.
