Fatal Hinckley Township, Ohio car crash death of Halley Woodward – Obituary
Halley Woodward, a 40-year-old woman from South Euclid, lost her life following a traffic collision Saturday morning in Hinckley Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 9:46 a.m. at the intersection of State Road and Route 303.
Investigators said Woodward was driving a 2018 Ford Fusion northbound on State Road when she attempted to turn west onto Route 303 and failed to yield at a stop sign. At that moment, a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado traveling east on Route 303 struck her vehicle.
Woodward was transported by emergency medical services to Brunswick Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. Authorities confirmed she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 41-year-old Mathew Bigadza, sustained only minor injuries and did not require transport to a hospital. He was also wearing a seat belt.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol Medina Post is continuing to investigate the incident and was assisted at the scene by the Hinckley Township Police Department, Hinckley Township Fire Department, and local towing services.
