Authorities said Altman was driving a Honda Civic when it was involved in the crash with the semi. She suffered critical, life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Officials later confirmed that Altman died from her injuries on Friday.

The driver of the semi-truck was identified as 63-year-old Mark McWilliams of Oshkosh. Investigators stated that he was not injured in the collision.
