Fatal Fort Worth stray bullet shooting death of Magdalene Mancho – Obituary
Magdalene Mancho, 66, was killed on January 30 after a stray bullet entered her south Fort Worth home and struck her. She was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Fort Worth police reported that the incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. on the 3400 block of Tahiti Lane. Initially, family members believed Mancho had fallen and hit her head, but medical staff discovered she had suffered a gunshot wound and notified authorities.
Investigators believe the bullet came from a gun fired outside the home approximately an hour before emergency services arrived. Homicide detectives are reviewing nearby surveillance footage and are working to identify potential suspects or vehicles connected to the shooting.
