Fatal Paramount, California car crash death of Miiyada Taylor – Obituary

Miiyada Taylor, a 25-year-old woman, was killed early Saturday morning in a three-vehicle collision on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Paramount, according to authorities.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the crash at approximately 2:55 a.m. near the northbound 710 Freeway and the Rosecrans Avenue off-ramp. When officers arrived, they found multiple vehicles involved, including a white Ford Explorer and a white sedan.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity, though her city of residence was not released.

CHP officials said debris from the collision was spread across several lanes of the freeway. As a result of the crash, a Sigalert was issued around 4:11 a.m., closing two northbound lanes at the Rosecrans Avenue off-ramp. The lane closures were lifted at approximately 5:41 a.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
