Nancy Rivera, 43, of Tucson, has died after being struck by a vehicle while walking along Ajo Way. The Tucson Police Department reported that the incident occurred on the evening of January 27 around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Ajo Way and Valley Road.

Rivera was crossing the street mid-block alongside another pedestrian when she was hit by a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. Emergency responders transported her to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Authorities confirmed no one else was injured in the crash.
