Michael Williams dies in fatal Fresno County car crash

Fatal Fresno County car crash death of Michael Williams – Obituary

Authorities have confirmed that Michael Williams, 72, lost his life in a single-vehicle collision that occurred Monday afternoon in Fresno County. The incident took place shortly before 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Auberry Road and Corlew Mountain Road, close to the community of Prather.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Williams was driving north on Auberry Road when his pickup truck suddenly veered out of control for reasons that remain under investigation. The vehicle left the roadway, struck several large rocks along the shoulder, and ultimately rolled over.

Investigators reported that Williams was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Despite this, he suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. CHP officials continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
