Fatal Pittsylvania County car crash death of Brandi Lee Fisk – Obituary

Brandi Lee Fisk, a 33-year-old woman from Danville, lost her life following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The incident happened along Martinsville Highway, just east of Pineview Road.

Virginia State Police reported that the crash occurred at about 9:30 p.m. when a 2006 Pontiac Vibe was traveling at a high rate of speed. Investigators said the driver lost control of the vehicle while heading along the roadway.

The car ran off the left side of the highway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Authorities said the impact caused the driver to be ejected from the vehicle.

Troopers identified the driver as Brandi Lee Fisk. Police noted that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Fisk was seriously injured and transported to Sovah Health in Danville, where she later died.

Virginia State Police confirmed that the fatal crash remains under investigation.
