Authorities have identified the woman who lost her life in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 in Biloxi as 55-year-old Yulone Solomon of Gulfport. The Harrison County Coroner’s Office confirmed her identity following the early-morning incident.

The crash occurred at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday in the westbound lanes of I-10, just beyond the Woolmarket exit near mile marker 40. According to Biloxi Police, three vehicles were involved in the collision.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after the wreck, but Solomon was pronounced dead as a result of her injuries. No additional fatalities were reported.

The accident caused significant traffic disruptions, with westbound lanes of the interstate closed for several hours while investigators worked and crews cleared the roadway.

Officials have not yet released details about what led to the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing.
