Fatal Richmond County, Georgia crash death of Lisa Ann Welch – Obituary

Lisa Ann Welch, 46, of Augusta, Georgia, was killed Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Deans Bridge Road. According to Richmond County coroner Mark Bowen, Welch was traveling north at a high speed when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed into the southbound lanes, and ran off the road near the 4300 block by the Richmond County Landfill.

Welch was the only occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:17 p.m. Authorities have not released further details as they notify her relatives and continue investigating the circumstances of the crash.
