Fatal Bronx shooting death of Adrian Dawodu – Obituary

Adrian Dawodu, 41, was killed Tuesday afternoon in a shooting on a Bronx subway platform. Police responded around 3 p.m. to the 170th Street station after a 911 call reporting gunfire.

Officers found Dawodu on the southbound B and D line platform with multiple gunshot wounds, including injuries to his groin and right thigh, sustained during an apparent altercation. He was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

Authorities confirmed Dawodu’s identity after notifying his family. No arrests have been made, and the Bronx Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
