Fatal Long Beach crash death of Amber Delgado, Isabel Acevedo, Caleb Gainer and Brian Delgado – Obituary

Amber Delgado, Isabel Acevedo, Caleb Gainer and Brian Delgado were identified as the four people who lost their lives in a devastating single-vehicle collision in Long Beach over the weekend. The tragic crash occurred inside the tunnel area beneath Long Beach Airport during the early morning hours of February 21, 2026.

Authorities reported that the victims were traveling in a 2008 Honda Accord when the vehicle slammed into the center divider along Lakewood Boulevard at approximately 1:20 a.m. The impact resulted in a fire, claiming all four occupants at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identities of the deceased as 22-year-old Amber Delgado of Huntington Park, 22-year-old Isabel Acevedo, 22-year-old Caleb Gainer, and 28-year-old Brian Delgado. The coroner’s office did not list cities of residence for Acevedo, Gainer, or Brian Delgado. Officials also did not disclose whether Amber Delgado and Brian Delgado were related.

Investigators with the Long Beach Police Department continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. According to police, both excessive speed and possible impairment are being considered as contributing factors in the fatal collision.
