Fatal Trussville, Ala. crash death of Kaleb Michael Bulva and Michael Tyler Smith – Obituary

Kaleb Michael Bulva and Michael Tyler Smith were identified as the two men who lost their lives in a late-night crash along Interstate 59 in Trussville. The deadly wreck occurred just before midnight on Wednesday near Deerfoot Parkway.

According to authorities, the pair were passengers in a vehicle traveling southbound on I-59 when the single-vehicle crash happened at approximately 11:28 p.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and both men were pronounced dead shortly after midnight.

Bulva, 36, was a resident of West Virginia, while Smith, 31, was from North Carolina. Officials confirmed their identities Thursday morning.

State troopers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
