Jeffrey Martin, 68, of New Holland, died after being struck by a white pickup truck in Upper Leacock Township, Lancaster County. The East Lampeter Township Police Department reported that the collision occurred at 5:33 p.m. on the 400 block of East Main Street/Route 23 as Martin was attempting to cross the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Lancaster County Coroner classified the incident as an accidental death. The truck driver stayed at the location, and the intersection of East Main Street and Pastry Lane was temporarily closed during the investigation. Authorities are seeking witnesses and information regarding the crash.
