Authorities in Buffalo have identified 30-year-old JohnLuc Jubert as the man who lost his life following a multi-vehicle crash on Route 33 Thursday night.
Police responded to the scene along the Kensington Expressway near Locust Street at approximately 11:40 p.m. Jubert, who was one of the drivers involved, was transported to Erie County Medical Center with serious injuries but later succumbed to them.
Friends and loved ones expressed deep sorrow over his passing, describing the loss as heartbreaking and unexpected. Emmalee Cinotti, who met Jubert during their time at Canisius University, recalled his uplifting personality and ability to bring joy to those around him.
Others shared similar memories, noting that while he could initially seem reserved, he quickly revealed a humorous and lively side that made him stand out in any group.
Jubert pursued studies in accounting during college but later turned his focus toward music, where he found his true passion. He became a DJ and developed his own sound, often collaborating with close friends on creative projects.
Those closest to him said his enthusiasm for music and his positive energy left a lasting impression, and his presence will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his parents and two siblings, with friends describing his family as close and supportive. A fundraising campaign has been launched to assist his loved ones during this difficult time.
