Fatal Mecca shooting death of Anjel Rodriguez – Obituary
Anjel Rodriguez, 18, of Thermal, was killed Tuesday evening in a shooting near the intersection of Coahuilla Street and 6th Street in Mecca, close to the community park and community center. Deputies responding around 7:59 p.m. discovered Rodriguez suffering from gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal incident.
