Fatal Lafayette shooting death of Irving Lumpkin III – Obituary

Irving Lumpkin III, 22, from Franklin, was discovered shot to death early Wednesday morning in the parking area of a Lafayette apartment complex. The incident occurred at the Grand Pointe Apartments on Kaliste Saloom Road around 6:30 a.m.

Officers arriving at the scene found Lumpkin deceased, and authorities have confirmed that the circumstances of the shooting are under active investigation.
