Fatal Framingham, Massachusetts car crash death of Linda Chaput – Obituary

Linda Chaput, 85, of Framingham, died Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision on Route 9, authorities confirmed.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office reported that the crash occurred around 12:44 p.m. on the westbound side of Worcester Road near Country Club Lane. Chaput was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 73-year-old man when it collided with a car operated by a 30-year-old man.

Emergency responders transported Chaput by medical rescue helicopter to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, where she was pronounced dead. The driver of her vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance, while the other driver was unharmed.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and the identities of the two drivers involved have not been released.
