Meharie Kidane dies in fatal Fresno shooting

Fatal Fresno shooting death of Meharie Kidane – Obituary

Meharie Kidane, 38, was shot and killed Friday night following a large party at the Sunshine Stereo Warehouse in downtown Fresno’s Brewery District. The event, promoted on social media, drew around 300 attendees before a fight erupted inside and spilled into the street, during which gunfire was reported.

Officers arriving shortly after 11 p.m. found Kidane with a gunshot wound. Despite emergency medical care, he died at a hospital. Authorities have not released any information about possible suspects and continue to investigate the incident.
