Braulio Gonzalez Amayo, 53, of Kerman, California, was killed Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Fresno County. The collision occurred near Kearney Boulevard and Dickensen Avenue shortly after 5 p.m.

According to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office, Amayo was driving a Chevrolet Malibu westbound when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a palm tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car, resulting in his death.

Investigators said alcohol is suspected to have played a role in the crash. No other vehicles were involved, and the incident remains under investigation.
