Police have identified 30-year-old Raissa Thatukila and 6-year-old Nathy Mbuyi as the victims of a targeted shooting near a high school football stadium in Haltom City, Texas, on March 31, 2026.

Investigators say the suspect, John Mbuyi, lured the two to the location under the pretense of offering money before opening fire in a planned ambush. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
