Walfre Roblero Prince, 27, of Loris, died last week after a motorcycle crash while trying to evade police. He was pronounced dead at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Authorities said Prince lost control of his motorcycle and struck a tree during the pursuit. Police had attempted to stop the motorcycle on Highway 22, but it failed to yield, eventually crashing near Old Highway 31 and Hidden River Road. The incident remains under investigation by Horry County law enforcement.
