Fatal Nashville, Tennessee shooting death of Donzell Young Jr. – Obituary
Authorities have identified a man killed in a shooting outside a Nashville motel early Tuesday as 33-year-old Donzell Young Jr.
Police say Young was shot in the chest following an argument in the parking lot of the Rodeway Inn just after midnight. He was transported to Skyline Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
In connection with the incident, 28-year-old Jerica Taylor has been charged with evidence tampering after allegedly removing Young’s belongings from her motel room following the shooting. Taylor remains in custody on a $5,000 bond.
Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding Young’s death.
