John Forrest May, 62, has been identified as the victim of a deadly collision at the intersection of Grant Road and North 15th Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Tucson Police, May was driving a Ram 1500 westbound on Grant Road when a Chevrolet Silverado, attempting a northbound left turn from eastbound Grant Road, failed to yield and struck his truck. Emergency responders transported May to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The Silverado driver was not injured but was arrested for Causing Death by a Moving Violation. Investigators from Tucson Police Traffic Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit continue to examine the scene, and the investigation remains active.
