Fatal Horry County, South Carolina shooting death of Fredriqua Grate – Obituary
Authorities have confirmed that 21-year-old Fredriqua Grate, a resident of Loris, was killed in a shooting incident in Horry County on Tuesday night.
According to officials, the shooting occurred near Log Cabin Road in the Loris area shortly after 8 p.m. Investigators said Grate was driving بالقرب of Log Cabin Road and Powell Lane when she was struck by gunfire.
After being shot, her vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, where Grate was pronounced dead.
Law enforcement also reported that two additional individuals were injured during the incident, including a child. Their conditions have not been fully disclosed.
Authorities have not yet identified any suspects, and the investigation remains ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward and assist with the case.
